Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes were mass-produced in my country in the early 1980s. Water-emulsion acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesives were widely used in the production of BOPP packaging tapes. There are more than ten sets of cross-linking systems in the country with a scale of 0.5-15,000 T/year.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive tape (PSAT: Pressure-sensitive Adhesive Tape) can be divided into rubber-type pressure-sensitive tape, thermoplastic elastomer pressure-sensitive tape, polyacrylate pressure-sensitive tape, polyvinyl ether pressure-sensitive tape and organic pressure-sensitive tape according to the main component. Silicone pressure-sensitive tape, etc., among which acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive is the focus of current research and development.

For some commonly used armored cable glands, when installing and removing armored cables wrapped with steel tape in the reverse direction, it is difficult to install and disassemble, and reverse disassembly is prone to damage the sealing rubber. The structure of such explosion-proof glands abroad is analyzed, and finally the general processing skills and modification suggestions for the gland structure are given.

January and February are the months when most brittleness problems occur in the domestic Unite States. Nylon is also notch sensitive and dryness amplifies this sensitivity. Cable tie design by necessity has several areas where this notch sensitivity can be found.
